Above: Herb speaks to a packed Gymnasium at LaPorte High School on the dangers, risks, and reality of drug addiction. Herb explains that when he smoked his first cigarette, chasing acceptance and fitting in that he had no idea the hell he was in for. As harder and more dangerous street drugs soon followed and he would be fighting for his life.
Above: Herb delivers his message to Chesterton High School. The students were so loved by his talk, honesty, and delivery that they gave him a standing ovation at closing and he has been asked to come back every year to speak with new students.

Above: Herb had the honor and pleasure to deliver the closing Key Note speech at the 2019 Indiana CASA/GAL State conference in French Lick, Indiana. The conference was attended by 800 CASA Volunteers and state reps. And a line was formed out the door of the enormous Hoosier Ballroom to purchase his book, which sold out in just under half an hour!
