Herb explains that when he smoked his first cigarette, chasing acceptance and fitting in that he had no idea the hell he was in for. As harder and more dangerous street drugs soon followed and he would be fighting for his life.

Above: Herb delivers his message to Chesterton High School. The students were so loved by his talk, honesty, and delivery that they gave him a standing ovation at closing and he has been asked to come back every year to speak with new students.
